Loewe's leather work is notable for its nappa — an exceptionally soft, supple calfskin used in bags like the Puzzle and Hammock. This particular material is a cut above standard calfskin and commands a genuine premium. Polène does not use nappa; its calfskin is excellent but slightly firmer.
